Amazon rainforest summit: Nations fail to agree on common deforestation goal

At a summit to protect the Amazon in Brazil, eight South American nations have fallen short of reaching an agreement on preserving the massive rainforest. Twice the size of India, it's essential in the fight against climate change. While some common steps were made, and a joint declation issued, the divisions were also in plain sight.
